Scopes and cameras to enhance your birding views!

The Kowa spotting scope I own is a 25-60X Magnification. Not only great for viewing birds, but on a clear night, I can see 4 of Jupiter’s moons and the rings of Saturn. And the Moon is fun to look at, as well. Absolutely love this scope! I know I will have it forever.
The Tripod is made from composite which makes it light to carry and keeps the hands warmer during those winter days. Similar scopes and tripods can be found at KEH Camera (link).

The Canon EOS 7D Mark II DSLR has been my favorite to work with in the field for both still and action photos of birds. With an ISO of 16000, it handles dark lighting very well too.
The Canon Zoom Lens 100-400mm Image Stabilizer Ultrasonic is my choice of lens in the field and allowed me to get those closer shots.

Extreme Pro SanDisk Compact Flash Memory Cards are my recommendation for the DSLR.
KEH Camera is a great website to purchase new and used cameras, lenses, gear, and other photography equipment. They have the memory cards and Canon body and lens I mentioned: (link)
Adobe Lightroom is an amazing software that I have been using for over 8 years. It allows me to quickly sort through hundreds of pictures, organize them, edit them, and modify them, as needed.
